Coronavirus updates

Our services are open and we are following the recommendations by the WA Health Dept and the Federal Government regarding self-isolation and social distancing.

Procedures

We are still able to perform urgent gastroscopies and colonoscopies as defined by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) at St John of God Murdoch and Peel Health Campus.  We are able to give advice on the phone if you have any questions about this. 

Consults

We are extensively using Skype and other video services, and we can use the telephone if you do not that have that available. We are still able to see you in person if you prefer.

We recommend not arriving at the rooms more than 10 minutes prior to your booked appointment time. 
Hand sanitiser and wipes are available and we are minimising the distance between patients in the waiting room.

None of our administrative staff have been overseas in the last 8 weeks.
